The ReptiZoo Heat Cable is a flexible, low-voltage heating element designed to provide gentle, even warmth beneath the substrate of terrariums, vivariums, and incubators.
The ReptiZoo heat cable generates a regular and even heat, that is spread along the cable, which is ideal to create good thermal zones. As with all heat sources, we recommend this is used with a thermostat. We would recommend a pulse stat for these cables this would be to prevent overheating.
It is recommended that you leave at least 3cms gap between each turn of the cable to prevent damage.
This comes in four sizes/wattages:
- 4m/15W
- 5m/25W
- 7m/50W
- 9m/80W
